Dr. Green working on this South African golfer, Tjaart V., before he starts his game. Most of the golfers and caddies had us work on them before and after their game. Great job Tjaart, see you next year!
This golfer missed the cut and spent saturday and sunday refining his swing. We saw him work on his swing for over 6 hours on saturday and we left before he did. Now that is dedication!
Friday afternoon after the first cut. The golfers and caddies getting ready for the next day.
Caddy Master, Keith, on the far right, old caddy master, Steve, in the middle, and David Blair, of Manarin Investments, who took a week of vacation to volunteer caddy. Unfortunately, Dave was not able to secure a bag, but was able to help Keith as needed. This is a great team to be around! And Keith is a northerner!!
These guys make it look extremely effortless. But we know otherwise, after watching one golfer work on his swing for two straight days with rods, guides and video taping himself.
The most common golf injuries occur in the lower back, elbows, shoulders, hands and wrists, and are generally defined as either cumulative (overuse) or acute (traumatic) injuries. The impact and stress of the repetitive motion of the swing is sometimes hard on the muscles and joints, especially if you ignore the early warning signs.
